TAG PRICE - $7,500 GRIST WFA BLACKCAP MAY 508 GRFA 508N  |  January 28, 2025 CONNEALY CRAFTSMAN x WEBER BLACKCAP MAY 149 Canadian Angus Link CE: +9.0  |  BW: -0.9  |  WW: +61  |  YW: +115  |  MILK: +35 • For many years we've followed the breed-leading program at Schaff Angus Valley, and one of the first females we acquired to build our own program on was SAV Blackcap May 9449. We left 9449 in North Dakota for breeding, where she caught on the first service. The result of that mating is the Rainfall daughter - Weber Blackcap May 149 - who is the dam of the heifer we're offering here. • The 149 cow entered our donor proqram in 2024 and produced 35 embryos across two flushes. 508 is our first ET calf out of her, and she delivered exactly what we hoped to achieve in mating Connealy Craftsman to 149. There's loads of Angus character in this young female, and her pedigree points to a moderate-framed, tidy-uddered cow with excellent feet and legs. • In the family tradition, 508 caught on her first service to SAV Courage 3003. If you follow EPDs, she lands in the top 10% for 10 traits - including top marks for Claw, Angle, Marbling, Milk, Teat and Udder - and sits in the top 4% for the Canadian Balanced Index (CBI). • The Blackcap Mays have a proven track record of maternal excellence and genetic influence in top programs around the world, and we fullv expect 508 to carrv that tradition into vours. • Due January 20th, 2027 to SAV Courage 3003 CONSIGNED BY: Weber Family Angus & Grist Farm (Listowel & Orton, ON)
